Covenant Living is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct resident care across assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings, while guiding LPNs and CNAs to uphold high nursing standards. Responsibilities include assessing residents, planning care, directing staff, coordinating with physicians and families, and ensuring care meets state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the State.
• One year nursing experience.
• Excellent communication and compassionate care.
• Ability to supervise LPNs and CNAs.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends or holidays.

Responsabilités

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Assist in the orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
• Assist in motivating LPNs and CNAs assigned to the nursing unit.
• Provide explanation of nursing procedures and assistance to staff.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing regarding assessments and concerns.
• Observe and evaluate residents’ health and communicate changes to staff.
• Notify physician and family when indicated.
