Job summary

Covenant Living Communities and Services is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide hands-on nursing care and oversee LPNs and CNAs in our skilled nursing, memory care, and assisted living units. The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, and coordination with physicians and families.

Ideal candidates will hold an RN license, have at least one year of nursing experience, and demonstrate compassion, communication, and teamwork. Flexible hours including weekends and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state.
• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to monitor and assess residents and coordinate with the healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily direction and monitor the work of LPNs and nursing assistants.
• Assist in orientation of new nursing personnel and reinforce training standards.
• Motivate LPNs and CNAs on the unit and support ongoing learning.
• Explain nursing procedures to staff and ensure ongoing understanding.
• Communicate with the Director of Nursing about assessments and resident needs.
• Observe residents and report significant changes to physicians and families as required.
