Job summary

Covenant Living is seeking a Registered Nurse to ensure high-quality care in assisted living, skilled nursing and memory care settings. You will supervise LPNs and CNAs, participate in care planning, and provide direct resident care according to state and federal regulations.

The ideal candidate holds an approved nursing program graduate, an active RN license in Illinois, and at least one year of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse license in Illinois
• At least 1 year of nursing experience
• Adherence to nursing standards and regulations
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Provide routine supervision of LPNs and CNAs on the unit
• Assist orientation and training of nursing staff
• Support mood and activity of residents and families
• Communicate assessments and concerns to the Director of Nursing
• Observe residents and report health changes promptly
• Notify physician and family per procedures when needed
