Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in Illinois and/or Wisconsin.
• Current CPR certification or certification within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledgeable in nursing practices and elderly care.
• Demonstrates leadership and supervisory ability.
• Able to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to customers and supervise day-to-day nursing activities by nursing assistants to ensure high-quality care.
• Ensure supervision aligns with Federal, State, local standards, facility policies.
• Plan and direct nursing procedures and patient care plans with physicians and staff.
• Attend care plan conferences and communicate changes to physicians and family members.
• Complete required assessments upon admission, transfer, or discharge, and maintain accurate charting.
• Ensure adherence to dress code and departmental policies; maintain a warm, calm department atmosphere.
