The Alden Network in Aurora, IL, seeks an experienced RN or LPN to provide direct nursing care and supervise daily nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. You will ensure quality care in line with federal, state, and local standards, and uphold facility policies to maintain the highest possible care throughout your shift.

You will read and write clearly in English, apply critical thinking, and lead care planning, medication administration, and patient rounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, unencumbered RN or LPN license in IL and/or WI.
• CPR certification required or obtainable within two weeks of employment.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and patient care procedures.
• Interest or knowledge in elderly patient care.
• Clear English reading, writing and speaking abilities.
• Ability to make independent decisions as situations warrant.
• Ability to communicate tactfully with patients, families, staff and authorities.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct nursing care to residents as assigned.
• Supervise and guide nursing assistants in daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with established policies and standards.
• Develop care plans and participate in care conferences.
• Administer medications and coordinate treatments as prescribed.
• Attend meetings and participate in continuing education.
