Job summary

The Alden Network in Bloomingdale, IL is seeking an experienced registered nurse or licensed practical nurse to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise nursing assistants in day-to-day activities, ensuring quality care.

You will be responsible for planning and directing care, implementing procedures, attending care plan conferences, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and facility policies.

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in IL/WI.
• Current CPR certification.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and procedures.
• Interest and/or knowledge in geriatric care.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and facility policies.
• Plan and direct care for residents and communicate with physicians.
• Document care plans and resident responses to care.
