Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible to enter and complete program and pass state test within 120 days.
• Understanding of medication administration procedures and training.
• Ability to perform basic math functions.

Responsibilities

• Set up and administer medication per physician orders and regulations.
• Display knowledge of side effects and nursing implications of medications.
• Chart routine medications and documentation.
• Maintain medication inventory.
• Provide personal care and treatment functions for residents.
• Create a clean, safe environment and ensure resident needs are met.
