The Colony Healthcare Center in Tallmadge, OH is seeking Certified Medication Technicians (CMT) to join our care team. You will administer medications, follow physician orders, and help residents maintain comfort and safety.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an approved Nurse Aide Training Program or eligible and able to graduate and pass a state test within 120 days of employment.
• Understanding of medication administration procedures and successful completion of a state approved training course.
• Ability to perform basic math functions and adhere to safety standards.

Responsabilidades

• Set up and administer medication per physician orders and regulations.
• Monitor for side effects and nursing implications of medications.
• Account for controlled drugs each shift and report discrepancies.
• Document routine medications and PRN administrations accurately.
• Maintain medication inventory and restock as needed.
• Provide personal care and basic nursing functions for residents.
