Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Frederick, MD seeks a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and emotional support to residents in a home-like setting. You will help with daily living activities, document changes, and support medication administration under the nurse or HCC.

Eligibility includes CNA certification preferred, high school diploma, and CPR/First Aid where applicable. This is a full-time, on-site role offering competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• High School diploma/GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR Certification preferred.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for a designated group of residents during the shift; know where residents are and check on them.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor if increased care needs.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation.
• Assist with meals, laundry, and daily activities as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Promote independence, dignity and safety for residents.
• Lead residents in daily living activities and life skills.
