Job summary

Seaton Senior Living in Maryland is hiring a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like environment. The role includes assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health, administering medications under supervision, and maintaining accurate records.

Applicants should have a High School diploma or GED; CNA certification preferred, CPR/First Aid preferred, and a compassionate approach to elder care.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous experience with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Caregiver duties: supervise designated residents, check on them during shifts.
• Observe, report and document symptoms and conditions for changes.
• Respond to resident call bells promptly and notify supervisor as needed.
• Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation.
• Aid with daily living activities and engage residents in life skills.

Education

High School diploma/GED

Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred
