Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support to residents in a home-like environment. The role includes assisting with daily living activities, monitoring health, and ensuring safety and comfort for residents.

Responsibilities include monitoring residents, recording observations, responding to call bells, and helping with meals and hygiene. CNA experience or certification is preferred, with opportunities for advancement and comprehensive

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or GED.
• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certifications preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a designated group of residents and check on them throughout the shift.
• Observe and document residents' symptoms and changes in condition.
• Respond to resident call bells and security system alerts promptly.
• Notify supervisor if resident needs increased care.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation of resident areas.
• Serve and assist with meals, report refusals or loss of appetite.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Practice standard care precautions for hygiene and safety.
• Encourage independence and dignity for residents during activities of daily living.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist all customers, guests, residents, and staff.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.
