Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Care/Medication Technician to provide hands-on care and support for residents in a home-like environment. The role involves assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring health status, and ensuring safety and comfort across shifts.

The position includes medication assistance, documentation, and coordination with nurses and health care coordinators to support individualized service plans for residents. Full-time hours with benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse’s Aide certification preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• CPR certification preferred.
• First Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care Giver: supervise a designated group of residents, check on residents throughout the shift.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition and document findings.
• Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly.
• Notify supervisor or Health Care Coordinator if residents need increased care.
• Assist with continence management and sanitation.
• Prepare and serve meals, report refusals or appetite changes.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident rooms and work areas.
• Uphold cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards.
• Support residents’ independence and dignity in daily activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transfers, eating).
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
• Greet and assist internal and external customers, guests, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
• Perform resident laundry as assigned.

Education

CNA certification

High School diploma/GED

CPR certification

First aid certification
