Job summary

MPAC Healthcare in Maine is seeking Licensed Clinicians (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) to provide on-site clinical care for residents, enjoying autonomy similar to private practice without the back-office hassles.

You’ll conduct initial assessments, provide psychotherapy, and address residents’ emotional and social needs while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team; you’ll manage your caseload, schedule, and compensate yourself through a fair salary.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree and a valid LCSW/LMFT/LCPC license in the state of application.
• Two years of counseling and therapy experience.
• Ability to work as a team member with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of mental health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial assessments and psychotherapy to address mental health needs.
• Function as an active, lead member on an interdisciplinary team addressing residents’ needs.
• Manage caseload, schedule, and documentation with Medicare and insurance considerations.
• Collaborate with facility staff and Regional Clinical Manager to ensure program success.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, families, and nursing staff.
