Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) in the United States is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will manage the food service team, ensure quality, safety, and compliance with menus and regulations, and oversee records and staff training.

The role requires strong communication, project management, and a commitment to infection control, with responsibilities spanning budget, equipment, and cross-functional coordination.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and supervision experience.
• CDM certification preferred.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, and staff using HCSG software.
• Conduct staff training and quality control; cross-train as needed.
• Communicate directives from clients and administrators to staff.
• Ensure sanitary operations with proper PPE and cleaning procedures.
• Monitor infection control and handwashing practices.
• Maintain attendance and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively in interactions with residents and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
