Job summary

HealthCare Services Group (HCSG) is seeking a Food Service Director to lead the dining program at a long-term care facility. You will manage quality, safety, inventory, and customer service while adhering to menus and regulations.

The role requires overseeing staff, maintaining records, and coordinating with clients and administrators to ensure exceptional dining experiences for residents and guests. Eligible candidates possess related education and certifications and must meet facility

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in food service management or hospitality.
• Two years of quantity food production/service and supervision preferred.
• CDM certification preferred or required by state law.
• Must obtain FPM within 14 days of employment.
• Must obtain FSM and LTC-FSM within 60 days of employment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Conduct staff training and quality control; step into dietary aide, cook, or dishwasher roles as needed.
• Communicate directives from client managers to HCSG staff.
• Ensure safe handling of cleaning solutions and report malfunctions promptly.
• Follow infection control and handwashing procedures to maintain sanitation.
• Maintain attendance, punctuality, and timely task completion.
• Represent HCSG positively to supervisors, staff, residents, and guests.
• All other duties as assigned.
