Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide comprehensive resident services including personal care, medication reminders, social and recreational activities, and meal services. The role requires attention to dignity, privacy, independence, and individual needs while maintaining a safe living environment.

The caregiver will review care plans, assist with medications as allowed by regulations, respond to emergency calls, and collaborate with the team to support residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet in-service training requirements.
• Desire to work with seniors and uphold privacy, dignity, independence and individuality.
• Able to organize time effectively with minimal supervision.
• Works well with others and as part of a team.
• Maintains grooming and follows dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and more occasionally.
• Able to read, write and understand English.
• General understanding of seniors' needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal services to residents as assigned and per resident Service Plans.
• Assist residents with medications and treatments as indicated by regulations.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls; follow infection control procedures.
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment; perform housekeeping as needed.
• Support residents in social or recreational activities and encourage participation.
• Monitor changes in residents’ needs and health and report as required.
