Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must meet in-service training requirements.
• Desire to work with seniors and uphold privacy, dignity and independence.
• Able to organize time and work with minimal supervision.
• Team oriented and able to work well with others.
• Well-groomed and able to follow dress requirements.
• Cheerful, enthusiastic attitude; eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident services including personal care, medication reminders, meals, and activities.
• Review and follow resident Service Plans and logs to stay informed on needs and health changes.
• Assist residents with medications and treatments as indicated.
• Respond to emergency calls promptly and follow training.
• Maintain infection control procedures and a clean, safe environment.
• Encourage participation in social/recreational activities and assist with group activities.
• Document changes in residents' needs and report to supervisors as required.
• Report any abuse or suspected abuse to the supervisor or agencies.
