Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 18 preferred.
• State CMA/CMA certification requirements vary by state and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance per plan of care.
• Administer prescribed medications under supervision of a licensed nurse and document outcomes.
• Record vital signs and communicate changes to the charge nurse.
• Assist with walking, transfers, bathing, grooming, and dining to support well-being.
• Support housekeeping, laundry, wellness and recreational programs, and committees when needed.

Education
