Job summary

Commonwealth Senior Living in Radford, VA is seeking a Resident Care Associate (RCA). You will assist residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily activities, follow individual care plans, document services, and help maintain residents’ dignity and quality of life.

Full-time position with a pay range of $16–$19 per hour. Qualifications include Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification, CPR/First Aid to be obtained if needed, and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Direct-Care, PCA, or CNA certification required.
• CPR and First Aid certification, or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability, including weekends.
• Ability to fulfill both the physical and emotional needs of residents.
• Upholds resident confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Directly assist residents with daily tasks and monitor care plan changes.
• Aid residents with mobility using proper techniques and equipment.
• Make routine rounds to ensure needs are met per individualized care plan.
• Document daily care activities per policy and report issues promptly.
• Respond to inquiries from residents, visitors, and staff.
• Familiarize with residents' care plans and provide support accordingly.
