Job summary

Great Lakes Management in Bloomington, MN is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant for full-time hours to provide hands-on care, both physical and emotional, as outlined in each resident’s service agreement.

You will assist with ADLs, participate in activities, document daily notes, and communicate with families and the case manager. Prior long-term care or assisted living experience is preferred, along with CNA/HHA certification.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aid or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated in the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain the highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance and engagement.
• Complete required documentation daily, service schedule, flow sheet, and communication book.
