Job summary

Great Lakes Management Co in Bloomington, MN is seeking a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care in a long-term care setting. You will assist with ADLs, support residents in dining and activities, and communicate changes in condition to the case manager.

The role emphasizes physical and emotional support, daily documentation, and collaboration with nursing staff. Prior experience in long-term care and a Nursing Assistant certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in long-term care or assisted living (Preferred).
• Registered as a Nursing Assistant, Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (Preferred).
• Ability to make responsible choices and act in the resident’s best interests.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs as indicated by the service agreement.
• Help residents reach and maintain highest level of independence.
• Provide residents with physical and emotional support.
• Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per the service agreement.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition to the case manager.
• Interact with residents to provide reassurance, engagement and redirection.
