Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking a Senior Principal Cardiovascular Surgery Sales Representative. The role focuses on promoting Cardiac Surgery therapies to assigned accounts within a remote capacity, with a strong emphasis on building clinical relationships and achieving revenue targets.

You will partner with surgeons, OR teams and hospital leadership to expand portfolio adoption, provide education and procedural support, and drive business outcomes while traveling to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires significant sales experience in medical devices, medtech, or life sciences.
• Experience promoting complex cardiac surgery products to hospital leadership and OR teams.
• Willingness to travel, including evenings/weekends, to cover assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory business plan to hit quarterly/annual revenue and market share targets.
• Develop relationships with cardiac surgeons, OR staff, and hospital leaders to expand adoption.
• Identify and close opportunities within current and competitor accounts.
• Deliver product education, procedural support, and clinical expertise for safe product use.
• Maintain accurate forecasts and account plans to guide territory investments.
• Analyze market and competitive data to identify growth opportunities and inform strategy.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and R&D to meet customer needs.
• Manage territory assets, expenses, and administrative reporting as required.
