Job summary

Medtronic plc in the United States (Los Angeles territory) seeks a Cardiac Surgery Sales Representative focused on promoting and selling the Cardiac Surgery portfolio. You will build relationships with cardiac surgeons, OR teams, and hospital decision-makers to expand portfolio adoption and meet business objectives.

Travel up to 80% and on-call support may be required. Qualifying candidates will have senior-level sales experience in medical devices and the ability to travel across assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 12+ years experience
• OR Associate’s Degree AND 10+ years experience
• OR Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years experience *Relevant sales, clinical, or related experience in medical devices, medtech, healthcare, or life sciences

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory business plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue, unit, and market share objectives.
• Develop relationships with cardiac surgeons, clinical staff, and key decision-makers to expand utilization of Cardiac Surgery therapies.
• Identify, prioritize, and close new business opportunities within existing and competitive accounts.
• Deliver product education, procedural support, and clinical expertise to ensure safe and effective product use.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasts and account plans to drive territory performance and resource allocation.
• Meet travel and workload demands including frequent travel to customer sites and working in clinical environments.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent with 12+ years experience

Associate’s Degree with 10+ years experience

Bachelor’s Degree with 8+ years experience
