Job summary

Amgen in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative focused on cardiovascular products. You will serve as the primary customer contact, conveying clinical benefits to physicians and navigating payer environments while supporting marketing strategies and district goals.

The role requires strong sales experience in pharma/biotech, ability to operate across in-person and virtual engagements, and a passion for improving patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR
• Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR
• High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience
• Senior Specialist: 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and participate in medical educational programs to achieve territory targets.
• Develop relationships to service and manage accounts, including discussions tailored to customer needs and ensuring product access.
• Analyze territory performance and contribute to territory plans with the District Manager with feedback on marketing strategy.
