Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the cardiovascular portfolio. This role covers a defined Arkansas region with no relocation offered.

The position focuses on delivering clinical knowledge to physicians, promoting Amgen products, and navigating payer processes to improve patient access. Strong sales experience in pharma or biotech and established local relationships are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's degree with 4 years of Sales experience or High school diploma with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device sales is preferred, with established territory knowledge.
• Ability to operate in a field-based role with travel across assigned US territory.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals to support appropriate utilization.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop and manage accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and plan territory activities with District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Senior Specialty Representative.
• Maintain Amgen values and ethical standards while driving brand impact and patient outcomes.
