Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for the Cardiovascular area in Baton Rouge, LA. You will be the primary contact for medical professionals, communicating clinical benefits and guiding them through the payer landscape to optimize product access.

The role emphasizes delivering branded messages, executing programs, and building long-term customer relationships while upholding Amgen values and providing patient-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with sales experience in pharma/biotech or medical devices.
• Experience in selling to oncology, nephrology, dermatology, and other specialties is preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen products to medical professionals to support appropriate use.
• Lead territory sales through branded messages, programs, and physician education.
• Develop relationships to service accounts, address access and reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and plan territory activities with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Maintain passion for Amgen products and patient impact throughout the sales cycle.
