Job summary

Universal Health Services in Texas seeks a Senior Technologist to lead advanced cardiac cath lab procedures, coordinate projects, and mentor staff while ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes.

You will serve as liaison among management, physicians, and vendors, oversee staffing, scheduling, QA audits, and participate in a rotating call schedule with RT/RCIS teams to maintain compliance with standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
• Currently licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in the State of Texas (TX).
• Current ARRT Licensure; those exempted must meet Public Law 97-35.
• Active Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification as RCIS or RCES preferred.
• Interventional Angiography certification preferred.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications per AHA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced clinical duties in the Cardiac Cath Laboratory.
• Serve as liaison between management, staff, physicians and vendors.
• Support staffing productivity and scheduling; distribute assignments.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
• Train and mentor staff; provide performance feedback and evaluations.
• Participate in rotational call schedule with RT and RCIS staff; ensure compliance with TDSHS and TJC standards.
