Job summary

Universal Hospital Services Inc. in Texas seeks a Senior Technologist for the Cardiac Cath Laboratory.

You will perform advanced clinical duties, lead projects, and act as liaison among management, staff, physicians, and vendors to ensure patient safety and high-quality care. You will participate in staff development, quality assurance, and performance reporting, with rotation on call and strict adherence to TDSHS and TJC standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
• Currently licensed as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) in Texas.
• Current ARRT Licensure.
• Non-Radiologic Technologist must have CCI RCIS/RCES certification.
• Interventional Angiography certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current per AHA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in interventional procedures with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Provide liaison between management, staff, physicians, and vendors.
• Support staffing productivity through scheduling and assignment distribution.
• Contribute to quality assurance audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Participate in rotational call schedule and ensure compliance with standards.
