Job summary

Universal Health Services in Texas seeks a Senior Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab to lead advanced clinical duties and strategic quality initiatives.

You will coordinate between management, physicians, staff and vendors, oversee staffing productivity, and mentor team members while ensuring patient safety and compliance.

This role requires active licensure and extensive interventional cardiology knowledge.

Qualifications

• Two years of Special Procedure and/or Radiographer experience required.
• Graduate from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• Current Texas MRT license.
• ARRT licensure; exemptions per Public Law 97-35.
• CCI certification as RCIS or RCES if non-Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Interventional Angiography certification preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects and routine specialized duties in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
• Liaise between management, staff, physicians and vendors to resolve issues.
• Support staffing productivity through scheduling and assignment distribution.
• Conduct quality assurance audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Mentor staff and assist in evaluations and skill development.
• Participate in rotational call schedule with RT and RCIS staff.
• Maintain compliance with TDSHS and TJC standards.
