Senior Capture Manager

Responsibilities

As a Senior Capture Manager, you will partner with Business Development Executives, Solution Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to develop opportunity win strategies, propose, and close differentiated solutions that provide customer value to requirements and challenges.

You will play a critical role as a capture lead on a Go-To-Market team, responsible for designing win strategies, innovative and cost-effective mission solutions, and compelling proposals for cybersecurity, intelligence, influence operations, and infrastructure solutions that address operational and technological needs while supporting business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understanding operational environments and positioning Peraton to deliver end-to-end mission value to program sponsors.
• Leading high-visibility pursuits across all phases of the business acquisition process for opportunities >$25M.
• Developing winning offers and solution sets (e.g., technical, management, past performance, cost/price).
• Collaborating with solution professionals and technical experts to align customer objectives with value propositions and develop integrated, cost-effective solutions.
• Managing communications and relationships with partners and subcontractors, coordinating with Business Development to drive high-quality solutions.
• Articulating win strategies, solutions, and business cases, including risk mitigation, during governance reviews with senior management.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, electrical engineering, systems engineering, information technology, or related field, with a minimum of 12 years of industry or operational experience (IC, DoD, DHS) or 10+ years with a Master's degree. Equivalent experience will be considered.
• Experience across all capture lifecycle phases, including customer engagement, analysis, industry engagement, capture planning, and team development.
• Understanding of pricing strategies, bid models, BOEs, and staffing plans for mission-focused services and solutions.
• Ability to lead complex capture/proposal teams to high performance.
• Experience working with senior/executive management.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI clearance.
• Local to Herndon, VA.

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance preferred.
