Overview/ Job Responsibilities

Sev1Tech is seeking a Senior Capture Manager reporting to the VP of C5ISR Growth. This role involves participating in strategic growth initiatives across key accounts, managing all capture activities during Business Development, Capture, Proposal phases, and post-submittal activities to enhance win probability. The Senior Capture Manager leads and mentors staff through complex pursuits and captures.

The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution, playing a crucial role in the growth team. Success will be measured by improved win strategies and rates, proactive problem anticipation, and effective positioning of Sev1Tech for large-scale opportunities.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

1. Developing Capture Plans and assembling capture and proposal teams in coordination with leadership.
2. Managing capture progression, Gate Reviews, and maintaining opportunity CRM data.
3. Crafting win themes, strategies, value propositions, and differentiators.
4. Conducting Price to Win analyses and establishing PTW targets.
5. Leading technical and management solution development.
6. Supporting proposal development, including drafting Executive Summaries and review contributions.
7. Analyzing competitors' capabilities and performing SWOT and gap analyses.
8. Handling NDA requests and establishing teaming agreements.
9. Negotiating teaming arrangements and establishing team roles and responsibilities.
10. Developing schedules, milestones, and risk mitigation strategies.
11. Applying industry best practices to enhance proposal competitiveness.
12. Conducting after-action reviews to improve capture techniques.
13. Completing B&P requests and resource estimates.

The selected candidate will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Headquarters in Woodbridge, VA, 3 days a week.

Minimum Qualifications

• Recent capture experience leading to major program awards ($100M+).
• At least 10 years of leading single-award prime captures.
• Successful track record in winning $100M+ deals.
• Experience penetrating new markets with solutions like IT modernization, cybersecurity, cloud, engineering, space, training, and support services.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong analytical and communication skills for senior stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in teaming partner selection and negotiations.
• Established relationships with government and commercial customers.
• Deep knowledge of federal procurement, acquisition trends, and the BD lifecycle.
• Leadership presence to inspire confidence under pressure.
• Proven ability to work effectively in teams and demonstrate integrity and professionalism.

Travel: Up to 25% as required.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in scientific, engineering, or business disciplines; advanced degree preferred.

Clearance: U.S. Citizenship required with ability to obtain a government clearance.
