Job summary

KBR is actively hiring a Senior Capture Manager to lead capture activities within the Exploration and Logistics unit, focusing on federal civilian procurements in HPC, AI, cloud, and mission programs. Primary location is Columbia, MD, with potential for 100% remote work depending on location.

The role requires 12+ years total experience, including 8+ years in business development and a proven track record of winning large prime contracts. Expect travel 20-40% and leadership across capture teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and 12+ years total experience including 8+ years in industry and 4+ years in business development
• Experience winning new business single award contracts valued over $100M
• Demonstrated ability to work with senior business and government leaders and provide leadership
• Experience in a mature capture organization targeting space and engineering support
• Ability to drive profitable financial outcomes with understanding of rates and LOE/BOE development

Responsibilities

• Capture ownership of assigned opportunities and support growth
• Manage end-to-end BD life-cycle across multiple pursuits and proposals
• Routinely lead 2-3 large ($100M+) solicitation pursuits
• Develop winning capture strategy, win themes, discriminators, and plan
• Coordinate meetings with customers and teammates to shape acquisitions
