RTX's Pratt & Whitney Military Development Programs seeks a seasoned Capture Manager to lead strategic captures in support of Next Generation Propulsion. This individual contributor role reports to Integrated Customer Solutions and collaborates across functions to win competitive bids.

The position requires 12 years in Aerospace and Defense, 5+ years leading cross-functional teams, and an active U.S. government security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; 12 years in A&D or Advanced Degree with 10+ years.
• 5+ years leading cross-functional teams.
• Active U.S. government security clearance required before start.
• Domestic and/or international capture management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic captures with win themes and cross-functional teams.
• Develop key pursuits lists and assess capture readiness.
• Drive capture discipline with program and BACE colleagues.
• Manage operational metrics: investment, pipeline, travel, sponsorships.
• Understand customer markets and budgets to identify drivers.
• Lead/participate in proposal development and pricing.
• Implement lifecycle program management from Pursuit to Start-Up.
• Track win/loss metrics and recommend investments.
• Build relationships with RTX units and external stakeholders.
• Share best practices and lessons learned.
