Job summary

Sedaro is seeking a Capture Lead to own the capture lifecycle from opportunity identification to proposal submission and award. The role is based in Arlington, VA, on-site, with travel as needed and eligibility for a US security clearance.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop capture plans and win themes, and drive compliant, competitive proposals across DoD and related markets. Strong leadership and communication are essential to success in a fast-growing startup environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience planning, managing, and executing on government capture and proposals.
• Proven success in closing government contracts of at least $15M and above.
• Strong knowledge of DoW, IC, and other federal acquisition processes (FAR/DFARS/OTA).
• Ability to lead capture efforts, manage teams, and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Excellent technical, organizational, project management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new government and commercial opportunities aligned with company goals.
• Develop capture plans, win themes, and competitive analyses for key pursuits.
• Oversee and participate in the development of proposal responses, ensuring compliance with RFP requirements and win themes.
• Break down large, complex proposals into manageable tasks and drive teams to meet deadlines.
• Lead cross-functional teams to shape and win new work and manage schedules, budgets, and risks.
