Job summary

Sabel Systems seeks an experienced capture leader to drive priority opportunities with DoD customers from qualification through solution shaping and teaming. You will build capture plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and guide strategy with senior government partners to win contracts.

Your track record in federal contracting, pricing strategy, and stakeholder management will enable you to advance large-scale programs while ensuring compliant, competitive proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in federal contracting with at least 4 years in capture management.
• Demonstrated success leading and winning captures over $25M+ (or size relevant to company scale).
• Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, RFP/solicitation structures, and competitive procurements.
• Experience supporting Army, Navy, USMC, USAF, DAF, or other relevant mission areas depending on Sabel Systems’ portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture efforts for priority opportunities, including opportunity qualification, win strategy development, competitive analysis, and solution shaping.
• Develop and execute comprehensive capture plans aligned to Sabel Systems’ business goals and growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government customers, industry partners, and key stakeholders to inform strategy and teaming.
• Conduct competitive assessments, price-to-win analysis, risk evaluation, and differentiation strategies.
• Oversee and coordinate capture-related activities with Business Development, Operations, Solutions Architects, Pricing, and Proposal teams.
• Drive gate reviews, readiness assessments, and management briefings, ensuring alignment and executive support.
