Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Business, Public Administration or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in Transportation Operations with emphasis on service delivery.
Minimum 7 years’ experience managing professional staff and projects in an Operations environment.
Must be qualified as Metro-North Supervisor Roadway Worker Protection or become qualified within six months of hire.
Must be qualified on Metro-North/MNR Rules of the Operating Department, NORAC, and MN290 Electrical Instructions within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities

Oversee, manage, and coordinate the workforce supporting capital projects across Grand Central Terminal and adjacent territories.
Provide leadership that ensures work is performed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with schedules and service requirements.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to maintain schedule integrity and operational coordination.
Review project proposals from a Transportation perspective, minimizing operational impact and ensuring track, signal, and power considerations.
