Job summary

Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) in New York is seeking an Associate Transit Management Analyst to assist in capital project delivery within NYCT Facilities operations. You will help ensure projects are safe, on schedule, within budget, and compliant with project requirements and standards.

Qualifications

• PMP and CCM certifications preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, PM, Business Administration, Transportation or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Focus and ability to deliver results, organizational effectiveness, and continuous improvement.
• Strong team building, listening, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
• Proficient computer skills (Windows, Office, PeopleSoft, Oracle) and strong business admin skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from initiation through close-out.
• Conduct frequent site visits for quality control and prepare daily field reports.
• Identify project risks, issues, and constraints; support mitigation and resolution.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, NYCT staff, contractors, and stakeholders for successful delivery.
• Ensure crews have tools, materials, equipment, access, and site support.
• Follow up on approvals, resources, actions, and stakeholder responses to maintain progress.
• Support compliance with standards, codes, regulations, safety and quality expectations.
• Assist with project plans, documentation, progress reporting, cost tracking, procurement support, and staff coordination.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
