Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Houston to lead engineering development, oversight, and execution for major capital and maintenance projects. You will coordinate with commercial and operations groups to support business development, commit to project objectives, and deliver plans on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities include on-site leadership, governance with executives and regulators, and ensuring safety, quality and environmental compliance across projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction or Project Management, or equivalent with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in major projects environment for natural gas, pipeline or facility projects (USD 100MM TIC or more).
• Strong cost/schedule control, procurement, and permitting knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects with focus on safety, reliability, environment and quality.
• Develop plans, milestones and budgets; delegate tasks to internal/external resources.
• Coordinate multi-unit teams and communicate with executives to align with goals.
• Provide on-site leadership for capital and maintenance projects and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
