Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee capital and maintenance pipeline projects in the United States. You will supervise construction activities, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with Operations and Commercial teams to ensure safe and compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities include leading planning and execution, overseeing contractors, reviewing bids, and ensuring adherence to Tallgrass procedures.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in Civil, Mechanical, Petroleum, or Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years' direct work experience in natural gas or hazardous liquid pipeline/project management may substitute for a degree.
• Experience in construction management of natural gas/oil pipelines and facilities with high-pressure systems.
• Strong project scoping, estimating, cost control, scheduling, procurement and permitting knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; leadership and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and manage capital and maintenance pipeline projects with safety, reliability, and environmental compliance.
• Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution; coordinate with Operations and Commercial teams.
• Oversee contractors and inspectors to ensure work meets Tallgrass standards and budgets.
• Coordinate bid processes, select contractors, and manage progress through all phases.
• Prepare scopes, cost estimates, and execution plans for new and existing projects; travel as required.
