Job summary

Tallgrass in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced project leader to supervise and coordinate multiple construction, repair and maintenance projects within midstream facilities. You will manage scope, schedule, budget and safety, driving on-time, on-budget delivery.

You will lead project teams, coordinate with operations, regulators and contractors, prepare bids and cost estimates, and ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA and company policies. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• Course of study in Mechanical, Civil or Chemical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum five years’ experience in engineering or project management of energy facility projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of regulations such as DOT and OSHA is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site representative for projects and manage scope, estimates and budgeting.
• Coordinate bidding processes and ensure competitive costing.
• Provide project management to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Interface with regulators, customers, Tallgrass staff and contractors.
• Lead project teams and ensure safety, reliability and compliance.
