United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to direct complex capital projects (renovations, expansions, ground-up design-build, and build-to-suit). This role acts as Owner’s representative, coordinating with stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• 10-15 years’ related experience in commercial construction, managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex or high-value capital projects, including major renovations, expansions, ground-up design-build and build-to-suit construction.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects.
• Provide strategic input on project planning and execution.
• Engage senior leadership and key stakeholders as required.
• Serve as primary contact and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to define project scopes and translate requirements into detailed estimates to establish project budget parameters.
• Identify potential risks and value engineering opportunities.
• Develop, maintain, and regularly update project schedules to track milestones and completion dates.
