United Rentals is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead complex, high-value capital projects including renovations, expansions, and ground-up design-build efforts. You will act as Owner’s representative, coordinating with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree, 10–15 years of commercial construction experience, and are comfortable with travel up to 70% across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level engineering/architecture education and related field experience.
• Experience leading complex capital projects including design-build and build-to-suit.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, codes, and permitting strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value capital projects including renovations, expansions, ground-up design-build and build-to-suit.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and manage budgets, schedules, and risks.
• Provide strategic input on planning, scopes, and stakeholder communications.
• Engage senior leadership and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and coordinate engineers, architects, vendors, and contractors.
