United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead complex capital projects, including renovations, expansions, and build-to-suit work. You’ll coordinate with executives, stakeholders, and a wide team of architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 10–15 years of related experience in commercial construction and strong knowledge of building systems. Significant travel and long hours during critical phases should be expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field (or equivalent).
• 10-15 years’ related experience in commercial construction.
• Advanced knowledge of building systems and construction processes.
• Experience leading ground-up build-to-suit and design-build projects.
• Proficiency with construction project management software; Procore preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead complex or high-value capital projects, including renovations, expansions, and design-build work.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects and manage budgets and timelines.
• Provide strategic input on planning and execution to senior leadership.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors.
• Lead contract negotiations and risk management; drive project closeout.
