Job summary

The Broward County Board of County Commissioners is seeking a Capital Project Management Supervisor for the Construction Management Division. This role oversees complex vertical construction projects, coordinating consultants, contractors, and County agencies to ensure scope, budget, and schedule are met.

Ideal candidates have experience with BIM, document control, scheduling programs, and a LEED or WELL accreditation is a plus. Leadership and resiliency in a public sector setting are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree in architecture and/or engineering or closely related field; Master's preferred.
• Requires 6 years in professional architectural/engineering work, including 4 years in project management and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manages and negotiates construction and consultant contracts.
• Coordinates stakeholders across County agencies and regulatory bodies.
• Supervises project managers and engineers; reviews plans, calculations, pay apps, and invoices.
• Reviews progress, resolves design and construction issues and negotiates fees with consultants.
• Establishes QC/QA procedures and supports budget development and procurement.
