Job summary

ReCon Management Services in Sulphur, Louisiana, is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering and design efforts for capital projects from feasibility through construction. This in-plant role requires coordinating with operations and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, has extensive experience in refinery/petrochemical settings, and can manage multiple projects while complying with codes and MOC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• 6+ years in petrochemical/industrial projects.
• Experience with refinery maintenance and project practices.
• Ability to obtain TWIC.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute capital and selected expense projects within approved funding.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, construction, start-up and close-out.
• Ensure compliance with codes, specs, and safety standards.
• Direct engineering and construction contractors; respond to RFIs promptly.
• Maintain project documentation and gated processes.
