Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated in Thousand Oaks, CA, is hiring a Capital Planning Senior Manager to lead ESR development, budget and schedule processes, and client relationships within the PDS team. You will manage capital planning, analyze ROI, and coordinate handoffs to execution while ensuring regulatory alignment.

The role requires a strong background in facilities engineering, capital planning, and financial analysis, with leadership of a small technical team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of project and facility experience in large engineering/architectural organizations.
• 5+ years in capital planning, lifecycle asset management, or a similar role.
• Experience with multi-site, multi-building campuses and complex building systems.
• Proficiency with Excel, Smartsheets, Maximo, Power BI, eBuilder, Adaptive Work, Ingenious Build, E1, and MS Office/Project.
• Strong financial analysis skills.
• People management experience, with ability to lead a small technical team.
• Strategic thinking and analytical rigor translating technical detail into business recommendations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead ESR development end-to-end: scope definition, budget estimation, schedule development, and risk analysis.
• Build Business Case Reports with ROI analysis and present to client stakeholders.
• Manage handoff of approved ESRs to execution team through project initiation.
• Support annual, 12-month, and 3-5 year rolling capital plans and prioritize ESR database.
• Develop scope-of-work and budgets for infrastructure and lifecycle projects including HVAC, electrical, lab equipment.
• Act as trusted advisor to client; identify additional project opportunities to grow JLL’s footprint.
• Deliver executive reporting and dashboards on asset performance and capital investment needs.
