Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, life-science construction projects on-site in Juncos, PR. You will manage from initiation to closeout, drive schedules and budgets, and mentor junior staff while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, multi-project delivery experience, and expertise in base-building systems, with standard business hours and on-site presence. Proficiency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant project or construction management experience, preferably in Life Sciences or other highly regulated settings.
• Advanced English Level
• 10hr or 30hr OSHA Construction certification
• 2-3 years of experience as a senior project manager or similar leadership role
• Experience with project scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations
• Familiarity with base building electrical, HVAC, and mechanical infrastructure
• Ability to understand OSHA 1926 requirements and review OSHA safety logs for contractors

Responsibilities

• Manage all project phases from initiation to closeout, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, and contract negotiations for multiple concurrent projects
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss project deliverables, schedules, and budgets while providing on-site project leadership and maintaining client satisfaction
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including project charters, budgets, schedules, meeting minutes, status reports, and punch lists in accordance with client requirements
• Manage vendors (general contractors, architects, engineers, security, safety) to ensure full compliance with project policies and formal closeout within 120 days of completion
• Develop monthly forecasts, cash flow analysis, and risk management plans while leading teams through work authorization processes in critical environments
• Mentor and assist junior project managers, contributing to team development and the establishment of best practices and cultural initiatives
• Review OSHA safety logs and ensure constructability, quality, environment, health, and safety compliance with client standards and regulatory requirements
