J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. is seeking a Distribution Coordinator II to oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory, staffing, and coordination with drivers and carriers. The role requires flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts to meet demand.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe operations, timely processing, and accurate documentation, with opportunities for salary growth and incentive plans based on performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: High School Diploma/GED and 2-3 years in transportation/logistics or related field.
• Demonstrated skills: customer service, accuracy, conflict resolution, decision making, adaptability, relationship building, service focus, communication, influence.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily warehouse operations ensuring accurate processing of goods for customers and vendors.
• Build and maintain positive relationships to maximize productivity.
• Assist with on-time service and manage freight/ETA adjustments based on schedules and road factors.
• Communicate safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Coordinate warehouse resources to maintain efficient processes.
• Perform payroll, budgeting, safety reviews, invoicing, and reporting.
• Maximize efficiency and profitability; suggest improvements and track KPIs.
• Train and orient personnel; assist with internal and third-party systems.
• Fill in for absent staff; support special projects to optimize operations.
• Assist with yard management and loading/unloading tasks.
