Job summary

Stony Brook University seeks a Senior Contract Manager to oversee a wide range of facilities contracts, including maintenance, elevator, HVAC, utilities, and custodial services.

The role leads contract development, negotiation, and administration across 100+ contracts, supervising the Contracts Team and collaborating with procurement, finance, and campus leaders to deliver cost-efficient projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent or higher) and four years of related full-time experience in facilities management including contract administration.
• Knowledge of OSHA and NYS Fire Codes; supervisory experience; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Manage a broad portfolio of maintenance and service contracts for Campus Operations and Maintenance.
• Lead contract development, solicitation, negotiation, award and administration across 100+ contracts.
• Supervise the Contracts Team and coordinate with Directors, Procurement, and Accounts Payable.
• Ensure timely delivery of specifications and procurement documents and resource planning.
