Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an experienced professional to serve as an Intelligent Modeling Coordinator on transit and multimodal projects. You will coordinate models across architecture, structures, roadway design and MEP, ensuring a federated, clash-checked delivery throughout the project lifecycle.

You will lead clash detection in Navisworks, enforce BIM/CADD standards, and mentor junior staff across offices while coordinating with clients and subconsultants on model deliverables.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 12 years of related experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intelligent models across disciplines to deliver federated, clash-checked models.
• Run clash detection and resolve issues across teams.
• Establish and enforce BIM/CADD standards and workflows.
• Mentor production staff and provide design sketches for drawings.
• Interface with clients, agencies, and subconsultants on deliverables.
• Support planning, execution, and quality control of models and drawings.
• Review prints and verify model integrity and data handoff.
